KAILASA’s NHU draws inspiration from the millennia-old Vedic tradition of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, the oldest living stream of transformational science in the world today. To create a Yoga and Meditation University as a center for learning, research, education and teaching of yoga, meditation, and spiritual sciences as practiced and preached by Supreme Pontiff Of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam HDH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam and also teach other Hinduism philosophies and cultures with a mission to improve the quality of human life through teaching, research, and public service and emphasis on life solutions.
  2. To meet the need for converging science and spirituality, the catholicity of the Hindu spirit, namely the unity of all humanity, and emphasize the spiritual science as the highest invoking a coherent world view of unity of all cultures and creations.
  3. Formulate credit-bearing undergraduate and graduate and confer degrees in various branches of science, arts, technology, humanities, etc, with an emphasis a practical Vedic base for the students to grow spiritually throughout his/her life.
  4. Formulate advanced M.S, PhD levels studies in Vedic philosophy, and in various branches of science, arts, technology and humanities.
  5. Develop an institute of research to bridge the gap between modern science and the spiritual/vedic science.
  6. Serve as a source of information for all authentic literature on Vedic/Hindu literature, therapeutics, philosophies.
  7. To evolve as a showcase or movement which may include:
    1. Constitution of a forum to understand/propagate the correctness of information.
    2. Conduct ‘web-based’ and ‘mobile’ courses.
    3. Organize seminars by and for students.
    4. Emphasize the commonality of all religions and the concept on tolerance.
    5. Attract students from other institutions on transfer basis for special courses.

Registration and Affiliations

The KAILASA’s NHU is a California religious institution founded as the Nityananda Yoga & Meditation University DBA Nityananda Meditation University in 2007 to propound and propagate the teachings of the Supreme Pontiff Of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam HDH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam.

The KAILASA’s NHU is awarded lifetime exemption under CEC (California Education Code) 94874(e)(1), by the Bureau of Private & Postsecondary Education for the State of California, to award religious degrees autonomously.

At its inception the school under the name of Nityananda University dedicated itself as an exempt religious institution to online instruction of students interested in the teachings of Supreme Pontiff Of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam HDH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam. The Nityananda University is now expanding to offer degrees, diplomas and certificates under the name of the KAILASA’s NHU. The emphasis and new vision is to also bring to light the contribution and various sciences of the Sanatana Hindu Dharma tradition.

Academics

Knowledge is of three types. One is basically intellectual: logic, arithmetic, mathematics, the things of the outer world. All this knowledge comes under the intellectual knowledge section, which you can learn from head, using the head. If you just use your head, that will be enough to learn-to pick up this knowledge. If you just use your mind, that will be enough.  If you want to learn from arithmetic, if you want to learn from mathematics, if you want to learn something to do with the outer world, from calculation, which you learn from schools, which is from your regular academic system. If you want to learn a few things, if you use your head that will be enough. If you are concentrated, that will be enough.

The next type of knowledge is something to do with heart. We call it Art. If you want to learn art, poetry, music, head is of no use. Head is no use. Using the head, you won’t be able to learn art or poetry or music.

There is a tale: One potter is doing pottery work, making the pots. His son also picked up the Art. He also started doing the…started making pots. Somebody asked him, how did you learn from him? How did you learn this from your father? He said, no, I did not learn. I just picked it up. Seeing every day what he is doing, I picked it up.

It cannot be taught. It is art, something to do with heart. If you have to learn something from the head, something like Arithmetic, Mathematics or Science, you have to use the head.

If you have to learn something from the heart, something like a Music, that is the reason in ancient times, music cannot be taught by the class system. It can only be taught by the Gurukulam system. All the great musicians you can see are trained by the Gurukulam system.

The student will stay with him, with the master-teacher. He will see everyday how the teacher sings, how the master sings, how life itself is a poetry. When he sees the master’s poetry, master’s life, he picks up something from that. It became poetry. If the poetry taught in the way of intellectual, in the way of Arithmetic, the man who learns the poetry will write poems, not poetry. There is a big difference between poems and poetry.

You will write poems, but it will not be poetry. It will be a just statement of poetry.There is a tremendous difference between the intellectual learning and emotional picking up.

The Third type of knowledge: first is intellectual, second is emotional, the third is spiritual. From deep learning…deep knowledge. It can neither be taught nor picked up. It can only be transmitted. It can only be transmitted from being to being.

Empowering Education: Knowledge transmission

At KAILASA’s NHU knowledge transmission is complete only when it becomes a lifestyle practice.

   आचार्यात् पादमादत्ते पादं शिष्य स्वमेधया |
   पादं सब्रह्मचारिभ्य: पादं काल क्रमेण च ||

Supreme Pontiff Of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam HDH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, when explaining Sarvajnottarāgama very beautifully explains:

“when you learn from the teacher, one quarter you learn; when you discuss among the friends, you learn the next 25%, when you ask him questions and get clarified, you learn the next 25%. Only when you start teaching, you learn the last 25%”.

Pedagogy

Hindu education starts with beautiful context.

“Let both of us be together and protected.

Let us not hurt each other.

Let us not cherish enmity towards each other.

Let us not cherish anger towards each other”.

This mantra means…the Guru and the disciple both of them pray to existence,the Parashakti or God, or whatever, the higher Shakti, let us help each other. Both of us are going to help each other. So if we come to a proper time, if we are punctual, we are showing our respect to each other. All of us leaving all our duties gather here; to get help by each other. Even a single person missing here will be something less

सह नौ भुनक्तु |

सह वीर्यं करवावहै |

तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु मा विद्विषावहै॥

ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः॥

 

Come with a simple, sincere mind. Don’t be serious.

Come simply in a relaxed way. Come with an open mind.

A beautiful tale. There is a great Japanese Zen Guru. There is a great Zen master, a Zen monk, who is Enlightened. One person came. He is a governor. He came to see the Zen monk. You can call him Socrates. The Japanese governor’s name.

When the governor came to meet the Enlightened master, to meet the swami, he sent a slip. The governor sent a slip, Socrates, the governor of Japan. and told the swami, please show it to your Master. I want to meet him. When the chit was brought to the master, he took the chit, and Zen master was so shocked.

When they use some words, they use ugly words. When they try to break somebody’s head they use ugly words. He took the slip and told I have no business with this idiot and sent the slip away. Sent the slip back. The slip came back to the governor. The governor, a very intelligent man. But an intelligent man, he immediately brought the slip back, and erased the word, governor of Japan. He erased the word governor of Japan and then sent the same slip again. In that slip only Socrates was written. When the slip again came to the Master, he saw the slip and told, ‘Oh, Socrates, call him, I am waiting for him.’

Just see the story. It means, these posts, these powers, these outer material wealth, outer world designations, if you hold behind or in front our names are just labels. So whatever may be your posts, power, position, or whatever is your status, just keep all those things outside and come inside with a simple mind. With an innocent mind. When you are innocent, you will be able to pick up so many things. In all that, whatever you have read, whatever you have heard, whatever your position, whatever is your status, all your mind, all your thoughts just keep it outside and come in.

Neither listen with doubt, nor listen with faith. Don’t have doubt or faith. Listen with trust. It means, If you listen with doubt, you will forget. It will not be able to, the words will not be able to go inside. You will just be here and waste your time. If you listen with belief, you will listen. There is nothing wrong. But you will not practise. The so called believers are the people who will be afraid of the whole world, but not doing anything.

Trust means the energy, the ability to translate teachings into practical life. Listen as you listen to hypotheses. When you listen, just keep it as a hypothesis and see whether it works out or not in your life. And widely practise it.

Research Breakthroughs

World’s ONLY science that increases cellular energy by 1300%

Knowledge generation as understood today is a slow stretching of  logic, increasing its capacity step by step. This leads to new understandings (cognitions). 1300 % Increase in Cellular Energy

Mitochondria are the energy powerhouses of the human cell. Mitochondrial activity in the cell is a precise indicator of the individual’s metabolism rate and energy levels.

In one particular study, blood samples from a group of Inner Awakening® participants aged above 50 years were subjected to a well-known protocol called MTT Assay for assessment of cellular energy levels. 100% of participants of this particular study recorded a drastic increase in energy levels, averaging 1300%. 82 Blind Students Afflicted By Varying Stages of Blindness Read After Third Eye Initiations in Vastrapur, Gujarat, India

Vastrapur (Gujarat), Jan 23, 2019:

It was an “experimental breakthrough” like no other in the modern world. Blind children manifesting the power of the third eye to read print material with consistency and stability while recognizing shapes, pictures, objects and colours for the first time in their lives. This is the first ever breakthrough of visually impaired children being able to read after being initiated by into third eye awakening by “Balasanths”, child students, of the Nityhananda Gurukul at Bidadi near Bengaluru, Karnataka, all of whom have been initiated in the ancient Vedic science of third by Supreme Pontiff Of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam HDH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam.

The venue was the premises of the Blind Peoples Association of India at Vastrapur in Gujarat. The participants – 82 children in all age groups above 6 years afflicted with varying stages of blindness from complete to partial and in some cases blind at birth.

What Happens during Blindfolded Reading?

Normal reading (reading with eyes) is a three-step process:

  1. The physical eye perceives the written words 2.
  2. Information about the words is sent to the brain via the optic nerve 3.
  3. The brain cognizes and understands the words

During reading with Third Eye (with physical eyes blindfolded) only two steps happen:

  1. The Third Eye cognizes the written words.
  2. This cognition is transmitted directly to the brain so the brain directly read; or ‘sees’ the words through intuitive powers without any help from the physical eyes. During blindfolded reading, the entire visual pathway and brain (excluding the eyes) are involved and activated, proving that it is indeed a process of seeing; and not any other brain activity.Significantly, the 3rd Eye can play the role of any of the senses, depending on which part of the brain is activated during the process. So one can hear with the ears closed, simply by activating the parts of the brain involved with hearing. This can be demonstrated through FMRI and PET scans.

With a successful 3rd eye initiation, the whole brain is activated. It is not just mid-brain activation.
